MY Furniture has launched a new range of luxury dining chairs and tables to compete with any upscale restaurant. The new collection fits into the most up-to-date monochrome trend, using bold patterns to add texture and elevate a dining space.

The form of the Hexapod Black Dining Table (see main picture), a sculptural, six-seater dining table, is inspired by highly-collectable 1960s American artisan furniture. It features a toughened, transparent black glass top and aluminium base with black powder-coated finish and height-adjustable feet.

The base is supplied in three parts which simply bolt together from the underside (the makers recommend levelling the base using the height-adjustable feet and a spirit level prior to adding the top). Dimensions: height 78cm, diameter 150cm. Price: £699.99.

The Zig-Zag Dining Chair features a brushed stainless steel base. This contemporary dining chair is strongly influenced by highly-collectible American mid-century furnishings - with a playful twist! Along with its brushed stainless steel frame, it incorporates velvet upholstery seat fabric, with Jacquard woven patterned fabric to the back. Dimensions: height 75cm, width 60cm, depth 60cm, seat height 47cm. Price: £269.99.

We also like the Aster Brass Dining Table. This is a bold statement dining table with a striking graphic silhouette.

It has a toughened black glass tabletop and sits on steel legs with an electroplated brass finish. The piece seats 6 to 8 people, depending on chair size.
